It is no wonder Saddleback Fence has become a leader in their industry. It all started with three driven leaders who spent their earlier days perfecting the art of business. Prior to becoming the founding owners of SVP, Mike Martin grew his experience in the construction industry. Kelly Miller who also possessed a strong background in construction and operations, teamed up with Mike in launching a business that sold franchises in three different states during the late 90’s. At this time, Alex Esparza worked for many years as an Operations Manager for a well known computer retail company. Upon building his experience in business, sales, and customer relations, Alex teamed up with Mike and Kelly in formulating what would soon be California’s premier fencing company.
Early in 2001, they saw the potential for a maintenance free product to fill the growing demand in the fence industry. After an exhaustive product research and to fill the growing demand for maintenance free vinyl, they formed Saddleback Vinyl Products in 2001. Early on, the leaders of SVP envisioned the future in the vinyl market. They launched vinyl patio covers as a second product line with the vinyl fence still in high demand. SVP incorporated in June 2002 and formed Saddleback Vinyl Inc. Also in 2002 SVP Inc. began to see an increase in the wholesale market. That same year they purchased the first of their fabrication machines to produce their own vinyl products. In 2004 SVP moved into a new 10,000 sq. ft. facility to accommodate their growth. In February 2006 SVP Inc. opened a commercial division for the Contractor and HOA market. With great success in the HOA market, SVP approached the builder market in July 2007 and Saddleback Fence was formed.
